What does it cost?

The shooting at your swim school is free. Additional costs are related to the purchasing of the artwork. However if you want a private shoot in your own pool, there will be a sitting fee of $70.

 

Where are you located?

We are based in Cairns, Queensland, Australia  and we  can arrange  a shooting anywhere in Australia. For more information, please contact us.

 

Do you do private shooting during the week-end?

Yes, we are available to shoot on Saturday and Sunday on bookings only.

 

Do you do private shooting on our own pool?

Yes we do also private shootings and there will be a $70 sitting fee.

 

What's the difference between a group session and a private session?

A private shoot is more tailored to one and one. It may suit a larger family or friends who woud like to shoot their own private shoot.

 

How long does the photoshoot last?

Steffen Binke Photography photoshoot session lasts half an hour to one hour depending on conditions and concept.

 

What happen's after the shooting?

After the photo shoot, we will carefully prepare yours or your  child's images using the latest technology and retouch your best photos, before we upload the results  to our private gallery. Then you will be given a link where you be able to view and purchase your photo.

 

How long till we can view our images?

After around 7-10 days we will notify you and provide you with a private link to your gallery.

 

What different products are you offering?

You can choose between Metallic Paper Prints, Art Block, Lumi Tiles or Icemount. You will find a detailed description of the products under

What sizes are available?

We have sizes and a variety of products to feed anyone taste and budget. To get a better idea feel free to click on one of our images in the print galleries ( CHOOSE SIZE) and check out our price range.

 

I like to purchase the artwork but don't know how to do that?

Please click on the link below the photograph CHOOSE SIZE and select your artwork. Follow the steps in the payment section. If you still have trouble please contact us and we are happy to help you out.

 

Can I do part payments?

We do accept part payments. Please be aware that we can only handover your artwork after payment is complete.

 

How soon can I get the artwork?

We're doing the best to keep the production time within 2 weeks but sometimes depending on the suppliers it can take up to 3 weeks.

 

Do you give us a CD?

No we don't produce CD's with your images. Every image will be always available for purchase in our archive.

 

What if I am not satisfied with the results, can I come back next time?

Of course you can. Capturing the magic moment  underwater is challenging. There are many factors to consider. Patience is often needed in the life of a parent and a underwater photographer. So feel free to contact us to arrange another shoot.

 

Are my pictures protected?

Yes. All your images are protected under the Copyright Law of Australia and  registered at the US Copyright Office.

 

Who helps the child to take the picture if I am not in the water as mom or dad?

We encourage you to be prepared to get wet and participate in that unique moment. The teachers are very helpful with teaching your child and cant always be available. Please be prepared to hop into the pool and comfort your child while doing your photo sessions.

 

Why does my photo looks so dull on my computer?

Most of the screens such us laptops, computers or even TV's are produced with around 50% of the whole colour range our eyes can see. This is often enough to view images in daily life. We work on a screen with 96% of the colour range, so that we can produce the best possible artwork in terms of colours and textures.

 

Can I bring different clothes for the underwater shoot or dress my child in a costume?

Of course you can and we encourage you to think about the outfit of your child. The more creative you get, the better is the outcome.

 

Do you have a Blue card?

Yes we do have a Blue-card.

 

What swimming pool do you work with?

We work closely with Southside Aquatics in Edmonton, the Edmonton Pool, Little Snappers in Smithfield and C-Me Swim. If you are from a different swimming pool and you are interested, please contact us and we will make the necessary arrangement with your swim school.
